Job summary

SSMC (Systems on Silicon Manufacturing Company Pte. Ltd.) in Singapore seeks an Associate/Senior Associate Engineer for its Diffusion (Implant) department to join a diverse team.

You will assist engineers to improve equipment performance and meet production goals, support 12-hour shifts, and perform preventive maintenance and calibration. Fresh diploma holders will be considered; diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics or related fields required; must be able to rotate 12-hour shifts;

Qualifications

• Diploma/ITC/NTC in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Microelectronics or Chemical Process Technology.
• 2–5 years of experience in electrical/electronics industry for Associate Engineer position.
• Fresh diploma holders will be considered.
• Able to perform 12-hour rotating shifts.
• Team player and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• To assist the Engineers to improve and sustain equipment performance and Cpk indices to meet operations goals.
• Perform 12-hour shift duties to support the running of Production in the Module and ensure equipment readiness and worthiness for production.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and calibration on a timely basis.
• Assist Engineers in the installation and hook-up of new equipment.
• Trouble-shoot equipment-related issues and minimize equipment downtime.
• Assist in implementing process improvement projects.
• Assist new Associate Engineers on their On-The-Job-Training (OJT) by acting as their buddy.
• Participate in QIT programs to improve productivity and output quality of the Module, and constantly monitor and feedback to Engineers to improve performance of equipment to meet Module objectives.
• Maintain good housekeeping in the production area, ensuring good safety practice and safe custody of tools, equipment and other properties belonging to the Module.

More about you:

• Diploma / ITC / NTC in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics / Mechanical/ Microelectronics / Chemical Process Technology
• At least 2 - 5 years working experience in electrical / electronics industry for Associate Engineer Position
• Fresh diploma holders will also be considered
• Able to perform 12-hour rotating shift
