Job summary

SSMC (Systems on Silicon Manufacturing Company Pte. Ltd.) invites innovative, passionate engineers to join our Diffusion (CMP Equipment) department as Associate Engineer/Senior Associate Engineer.

You will assist Engineers to improve equipment performance and Cpk, perform 12-hour shift duties, PM/calibration, install new equipment, troubleshoot, and support OJT. You’ll participate in QIT programs and maintain a safe production area.

Qualifications

• Diploma / ITC / NTC in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics / Mechanical/ Microelectronics / Chemical Process Technology
• At least 2 - 5 years working experience in electrical / electronics industry for Associate Engineer Position
• Fresh diploma holders will also be considered
• Able to perform 12-hour rotating shift

Responsibilities

• Assist Engineers to improve and sustain equipment performance and Cpk indices to meet operations goals.
• Perform 12-hour shift duties to support the running of Production in the Module and ensure equipment readiness and worthiness for production.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and calibration on a timely basis.
• Assist Engineers in the installation and hook-up of new equipment.
• Trouble-shoot equipment-related issues and minimize equipment downtime.
• Assist in implementing process improvement projects.
• Assist new Associate Engineers on their On-The-Job-Training (OJT) by acting as their buddy.
• Participate in QIT programs to improve productivity and output quality of the Module, and constantly monitor and feedback to Engineers to improve performance of equipment to meet Module objectives.
• Maintain good housekeeping in the production area, ensuring good safety practice and safe custody of tools, equipment and other properties belonging to the Module
