The role requires 3+ years in a technical BA capacity within financial services, with experience reading code and working with Python or Java. Strong knowledge of APIs, databases, and software architecture is essential for collaboration with engineers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a Technical Business Analyst or related role within financial services.
• Experience reading and reviewing production-grade code; Python or Java preferred.
• Strong understanding of systems design, APIs, databases, and software architecture.
• Experience collaborating with engineering teams to deliver complex tech solutions.
• Familiarity with financial markets and asset classes; electronic trading knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and enhance front-to-back trading workflows across asset classes.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions with stakeholders.
• Contribute to API, database, and system architecture design initiatives.
• Produce clear, structured documentation to support global development teams.
• Define project scope, dependencies, timelines, and milestones with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with software engineers to ensure effective design and implementation.
