Job summary

The Earth Observatory of Singapore at NTU invites applications for the Project Officer role to support the Climate Transformation Programme (CTP). You will provide administrative, financial and operational support for research projects, ensuring alignment with funding agency and university policies.

Responsibilities include procurement processing, budget monitoring, meeting coordination, reporting for audits, and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Science, Finance or related discipline.
At least 3 years of relevant working experience in project administration, finance or grant management.
Experience in managing government-funded research grants and familiarity with Singapore’s guidelines is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Provide support for the day-to-day management of research projects, including finance, procurement, and project coordination.
Process procurement transactions, reimbursement claims, and financial documentation in accordance with policies.
Monitor project budgets and expenditures, maintain financial records, and support reporting.
Coordinate project meetings, workshops, travel arrangements, and other programme activities.
Liaise with PIs, researchers, funding agencies, NTU Shared Services, and other stakeholders to facilitate project implementation.
Monitor project progress, maintain records and track milestones and performance indicators.
Prepare and compile progress and financial reports for funding agencies and audits.
Ensure compliance with university policies and governance procedures.
