Job summary

Earth Observatory of Singapore (EOS) at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore invites applications for the position of Project Officer to support the Climate Transformation Program (CTP). The role focuses on administrative, financial, and operational support for research programmes, ensuring compliance with funding agency and University policies.

The incumbent will handle procurement, budgeting, reporting, and liaison with internal and external stakeholders to enable timely project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with at least 3 years of project administration/finance experience.
• Experience with government-funded research grants and grant management guidelines is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and in a multicultural team environment.
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for day-to-day management of research projects, including finance, procurement and project coordination.
• Process procurement transactions (PRs, POs, GRs), reimbursement claims and financial documentation per policies.
• Monitor project budgets and expenditures and support budget tracking and reporting.
• Coordinate project meetings, workshops, travel arrangements and other programme activities.
• Liaise with PIs, researchers, funding agencies and stakeholders to facilitate project delivery.
• Monitor progress, maintain records and track milestones and KPIs.
• Prepare and compile progress and financial reports for funding agencies and audits.
• Ensure compliance with university policies and funding agency requirements.
• Perform other project-related administrative duties.
