Job summary

Singapore Business Federation's MigrantWell Singapore initiative seeks a Finance & Administration Manager to lead finance, accounting, governance, and admin functions. You will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, audits, donations, and compliance with charity governance standards.

Qualifications

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline with relevant professional experience.
Experience in the social sector and familiarity with Charities Accounting Standards.
Strong analytical ability and proficiency in Excel.
Meticulous with accuracy in financial reporting.

Responsibilities

Oversee MigrantWell Singapore accounts, ensure timely quarter- and year-end closes.
Monitor cashflow and advise on short-term placement of excess funds.
Lead annual budgeting and track performance against budget.
Reconcile donations and ensure tax-deductible receipts to donors.
Ensure compliance with governance, IPC, Charities Act and accounting standards.
Liaise with auditors, bookkeepers and governance bodies.
Develop and improve finance policies and operating procedures.
Provide governance and administrative support to the organization.
