Job summary

The Singapore Immunology Network (SIgN) at A*STAR is seeking a Research Officer to join Dr. Florian Winau's laboratory. You will contribute to studies on antigen presentation, T and B lymphocyte regulation, and the involvement of lipids in Immunology.

The role involves cell culture, flow cytometry, microscopy, functional assays, cloning, PCR/q-RT-PCR, and biochemistry, including work with experimental mice. You will also support overall laboratory management and procurement.

Qualifications

• Degree in Biology, Life Sciences, or fields related to Biomedical Science
• Prior experience in conducting experimental research
• Proficiency in various techniques of cell biology, molecular biology, and biochemistry as listed above
• Experience in handling mice and experimental animal work

Responsibilities

• Contribute to projects studying antigen presentation, T and B lymphocyte regulation, and the role of lipids in Immunology.
• Perform cell culture, flow cytometry, microscopy, and functional assays.
• Support laboratory management and procurement.
• Collaborate with team on lipid biochemistry aspects.
