Qualifications

• Strong Chinese language proficiency and a genuine appreciation of Chinese literature and culture.
• Qualifications or work experience in Chinese education, primary education, literature or related field.
• Ability to engage children through creative, experiential learning.
• Interest in literary appreciation, storytelling, poetry and cultural education.
• Understanding of children's language development and diverse learning needs.
• Collaborative and innovative approach to curriculum development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging Chinese immersion programmes for children aged 7-12.
• Design age-appropriate experiences in literature, poetry, storytelling, reading, creative writing and oral expression.
• Integrate Chinese into daily routines, collaborative projects and cultural activities.
• Develop cultural programmes exploring Chinese heritage, traditional arts, history and festivals.
• Encourage children's literary appreciation, imagination, communication and critical thinking.
• Adapt activities to children's language abilities, interests and developmental stages.
• Guide and support educators in delivering a consistent Chinese immersion environment.
• Contribute to school holiday programmes and interdisciplinary learning projects.
