Job summary

AlpSoft Technologies Pte Ltd is seeking a Safety Coordinator/WSH Coordinator to ensure compliance with Singapore WSH regulations and MOM requirements. The role involves daily site safety inspections, monitoring WAH activities, and maintaining RA/SWP/PTW documentation.

The ideal candidate holds a WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B) and a WAH certification, with at least 2 years of relevant experience in construction, engineering or installation projects.

Qualifications

• Must have WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B / WSH Coordinator).
• Must have Working at Height (WAH) certification, preferably WAH Assessor or Manage Work at Height.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as Safety Coordinator / WSH Coordinator in construction/engineering/installations.
• Familiar with Singapore WSH Act, MOM regulations and workplace safety requirements.
• Knowledge of RA, SWP and PTW systems.
• Experience monitoring high-risk activities, particularly working at height.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Singapore WSH regulations, MOM requirements and safety policies.
• Conduct daily site safety inspections to identify hazards and unsafe practices.
• Monitor safe execution of Working at Height activities and proper fall protection use.
• Prepare, review and implement RA, SWP and PTW documentation.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings and site orientations for workers and subcontractors.
• Monitor contractors and workers for PPE compliance and safety procedures.
• Assist in incident investigations, near-miss reporting and corrective actions.
• Maintain safety records and training documentation.
• Coordinate with PMs, Site Supervisors and contractors to ensure safe operations.
• Support safety audits and continuous safety improvements.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Singapore Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations, MOM requirements and company safety policies.

• Conduct daily site safety inspections to identify potential hazards, unsafe conditions and unsafe work practices.

• Monitor and ensure safe execution of Working at Height (WAH) activities, including proper use of fall protection equipment and safety measures.

• Prepare, review and implement Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP) and Permit-to-Work (PTW) documentation.

• Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings and site safety orientations for workers and subcontractors.

• Monitor contractors and workers to ensure compliance with safety procedures and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

• Assist in workplace incident investigations, near-miss reporting and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

• Maintain safety records, inspection reports, training documentation and other WSH-related reports.

• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Supervisors and contractors to ensure safe site operations.

• Support safety audits, inspections and continuous improvement of workplace safety standards.
