Job summary

Surbana Jurong is seeking an experienced M&E/Facilities Manager to lead operation and maintenance of building services. You will oversee ACMV, electrical, mechanical, plumbing and fire protection systems, ensuring reliability, safety, and regulatory compliance across facilities.

You will plan preventive maintenance, conduct inspections, and coordinate with contractors and consultants to deliver timely, quality outcomes. Strong communication and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Building Services Engineering or related discipline.
• Relevant experience in M&E or facilities management of commercial, industrial or institutional facilities.
• Strong knowledge of building M&E systems and maintenance practices.
• Good troubleshooting, coordination and contractor management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee operation and maintenance of M&E systems including ACMV, electrical, mechanical, plumbing and fire protection.
• Plan and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure reliability.
• Conduct regular inspections and identify operational, safety and maintenance issues.
• Coordinate with term contractors, service providers and consultants to complete works safely and on time.
• Troubleshoot M&E equipment and coordinate rectification works as required.
• Monitor contractors' performance and compliance with contractual requirements.
• Ensure statutory inspections, testing, certification and regulatory requirements are met.
