SIA Engineering is seeking an IFEC Monitoring Engineer in Singapore to monitor IFEC health, respond to alerts, coordinate VVIP feedback, and provide timely reports to management. The role requires shift work, 1–2 years in airline ops or maintenance, and a driver’s licence. You will interface with vendors and MROs to ensure high IFEC availability.

The role emphasizes frontline support to operations, defect prioritization, and collaborative problem solving in a fast-paced aviation environment.

Qualifications

• Honours Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in airline operations and/or aircraft maintenance.
• Perform shift work to support aircraft operational schedule.
• Excellent team player with analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work independently.
• Possess Class 3 Driving Licence.

Responsabilités

• Daily monitoring of aircraft IFEC health status.
• Ensure IFEC failure alerts are attended to.
• VVIP sweep check coordination and attend to VVIP feedbacks
• To audit effectiveness of IFEC maintenance execution and preventive checks.
• Analyze IFEC defects for trending and detection of emerging in-service issues.
• Provide inflight/line station reset recommendations for IFEC system outage recovery.
• Provide front line support to operations & assist in prioritizing defects and planned works.
• Review IFEC defects and work with vendors to provide recommended troubleshooting steps.
• Coordination of aircraft ground time and resources for connectivity antenna replacements.
