The role supports security, reliability and compliance while contributing to architecture planning.

The candidate will oversee cloud and on‑prem environments, coordinate with vendors and provide Tier 3 support, with a 1‑year contract term and location in the Tanjong Pagar area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• At least 3 years' IT infrastructure management experience.
• Experience with international organisations or government agencies is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of network, cloud, security and DR planning.

Responsibilities

• Maintain servers, storage, virtualization and cloud environments for high availability.
• Manage LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN and network security solutions.
• Support cloud platforms like AWS and Microsoft 365 integration with on‑prem systems.
• Manage endpoint security and policy configurations for devices.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and coordinate with cybersecurity teams.
• Test and maintain backup, failover and disaster recovery procedures.
• Develop infrastructure roadmaps and best practices across environments.
• Coordinate with vendors on maintenance and SLAs.
• Monitor performance and implement reliability improvements.

Overview

Our client are seeking an experienced ICT Specialist, Infrastructure to manage and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud platforms and endpoint systems. The successful candidate will support infrastructure security, ensure system reliability and compliance, and contribute to infrastructure architecture planning and technology improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and oversee servers, storage, virtualization and cloud-hosted environments to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
• Manage and optimise LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, firewalls and network security solutions to ensure reliable connectivity and data protection.
• Support the implementation and management of cloud platforms, such as AWS and Microsoft 365, and integrate them with existing on-premises systems.
• Manage endpoint security, system updates and configuration policies for desktops, laptops and mobile devices.
• Ensure infrastructure systems comply with established security policies and standards, working closely with cybersecurity teams on vulnerability assessments and incident response.
• Implement, maintain and test backup, failover and disaster recovery procedures to support business continuity.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure architecture roadmaps, standards and best practices across on-premises, hybrid and cloud environments.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers on infrastructure maintenance, technical support and service-level requirements.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, identify potential issues and implement improvements to enhance reliability, scalability and efficiency.
• Lead or support infrastructure projects, including system upgrades, network refreshes and security enhancements.
• Maintain accurate infrastructure documentation, system configurations and operational procedures in accordance with organisational and regulatory requirements.
• Provide Tier 3 technical support for complex infrastructure incidents and guide end-user support personnel towards timely resolution.
• Participate in organisational initiatives, knowledge-sharing sessions and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure management within public or private sector organisations.
• Experience working with international organisations or government agencies would be an advantage.
• Strong technical knowledge of network architecture, cloud services, virtualisation, infrastructure security and disaster recovery planning.
• Familiarity with enterprise technologies such as Microsoft 365, AWS, endpoint detection and response (EDR/XDR), firewalls and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
• Understanding of ITIL service management practices and IT infrastructure security frameworks.
• Awareness of emerging technologies and trends in infrastructure management, cybersecurity and cloud computing.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
