Job summary

CAMERON (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support design, construction, testing, installation and commissioning of hyperscale data center infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of mechanical design/engineering experience focused on data center infrastructure.
• Proficiency in mechanical/piping system design, layout, routing and components.
• Strong knowledge of piping and fire suppression system design and construction.
• Familiarity with industry codes and standards (ASME, NFPA, NACE, OSHA, etc.).
• Experience with CAD tools and BIM software; proficient in MS Office and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve mechanical drawings and documentation for compliance with codes and client specs.
• Monitor engineering work for accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
• Lead design and development planning sessions with cross-functional teams.
• Prepare technical requisitions and support procurement/manufacturing.
• Evaluate vendor quotations and provide feedback to procurement.
• Develop BOMs (MTOs) and piping line lists for project execution.
• Provide piping load data to structural engineers for integration.
• Attend client reviews and respond to RFIs during construction.
