Job summary

Corning is seeking an Application Engineer, Hyperscale, to provide local support for hyperscale data center solutions in Singapore (or Bangkok). You will engage with design consultants, installers, MTDC operators and distributors to translate customer needs into scalable deployment plans.

Key responsibilities include driving design, providing SME-level engineering support, and fostering collaboration across sales, engineering and operations to secure successful implementations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science field.
• 3–5 years in data center infrastructure or related roles.
• Experience with hyperscale, cloud or AI data centers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Corning solutions for AI-ready data center infra.
• Provide SME-level support to global/regional teams during deployments.
• Collaborate with customers, installers and partners to drive project success.
• Stay current on APAC AI data center networking trends and opportunities.
• Train installers on network design, installation and deployment practices.
