Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD is seeking a QA/Test Analyst to participate in test planning, design, execution and coordination across web applications and integrated systems.

You will review requirements, create test cases, run manual tests, manage defects with vendors, and prepare test reports. This role involves coordinating with business users, product owners and developers to ensure traceability and quality across releases.

Responsibilities

• Review business and functional requirements to identify test scenarios.
• Participate in requirement walkthroughs and design discussions.
• Assist in preparing test strategy, test plans, and test schedules.
• Estimate testing effort and support release planning.
• Create detailed test cases and test scripts covering: Functional testing, Integration testing, Regression testing, End-to-end testing, UAT support.
• Ensure complete traceability between requirements and test cases.
• Execute manual testing across web applications and integrated systems.
• Validate business workflows and user journeys.
• Verify system integrations and interfaces.
• Perform regression testing for new releases.
• Validate production fixes where required.
• Log, track, and manage defects using agreed tools.
• Work with developers and vendors to investigate issues.
• Perform defect retesting and closure verification.
• Provide daily defect status updates.
• Coordinate testing activities with Business users, Product Owners, Developers, External vendors, Group Technology.
• Support UAT planning and execution.
• Prepare test completion reports and quality metrics.
• Maintain testing documentation and evidence.
• Produce daily and weekly testing status reports.
• Ensure testing artefacts comply with project governance.
