Job summary

Celestica Singapore is looking for a procurement professional to support multiple commodities and technologies, build expertise, and align daily work with our strategic priorities. You will collaborate with internal partners such as finance and legal to ensure control, compliance, and effective procurement across the business.

The role requires typically 2–4 years in procurement or supply chain, mastery of English and a local language, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• First level university degree or equivalent experience.
• Typically, 2-4 years of experience in procurement or supply chain.
• Mastery in English and local language.
• Developed understanding of procurement processes.
• Demonstrated analytical and technical aptitude.
• Good business application skills.
• Developed communication skills.
• Basic understanding of corporate compliance.
• Basic project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides procurement support across multiple commodities and technologies.
• Collaborates with internal and external partners (finance, legal) to meet objectives and ensure compliance.
• Performs tasks and aligns work with overall strategy using discretion and judgment.
• Collaborates with teams to maintain and enhance current operations and processes.
• Executes process improvements.
• May lead activities for less complex domains.
• Assesses the supplier base for category.
• Negotiates contracts with low-risk suppliers; manages day-to-day operations of low complexity suppliers.
• Executes standard risk mitigation, business continuity, and cost management strategies.
• Assists with ad-hoc duties as assigned.
