Job summary

QCP Group in Singapore seeks an IT Network Specialist to support network infrastructure and security operations across our offices. You will assist with provisioning, configuring and maintaining switches, routers, wireless APs, firewalls, VPNs and WAN/SD-WAN services.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in network support or IT with networking responsibilities.
• Certification such as CCNA or Network+ desirable.
• Degree or apprenticeship in networking, cyber security, computing or related subject is useful but not essential.
• Hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing laptop hardware.
• Working knowledge of Windows and/or macOS device setup, imaging and deployment.
• Awareness of server room fundamentals: rack layout, cable management, UPS and cooling.

Responsibilities

• Assist with provisioning, configuring and maintaining switches, routers, wireless access points, firewalls, WAN/SD-WAN services, and VPNs.
• Provide first- and second-line troubleshooting for wired, wireless, internet, DNS, DHCP, routing switching and connectivity issues.
• Support IP address allocation and VLAN administration and keep subnet and IP address management records accurate.
• Assist with site surveys, equipment installation, cabling checks and post-installation testing for office and network deployments.
• Support day-to-day firewall administration, including rule changes and NAT configuration.
• Assist with network access control services (802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS+).
• Review alerts/logs from security tools and triage suspected threats.
• Maintain security baselines and patching status; apply least-privilege and Zero Trust principles.
• Apply approved software upgrades, patches and backups to network devices.
• Monitor network availability and performance using monitoring platforms; respond to service alerts and assist with incident resolution.
• Contribute to incident reviews and track corrective actions; participate in on-call rota if required.
• Maintain server room documentation, rack layouts and equipment inventories.
