Job summary

HTX, Singapore's Science and Technology agency, seeks an Engineer, Hybrid Cloud Excellence to design and operationalise hybrid cloud integration across hosting environments. You will drive architecture for cloud workloads, automate infrastructure, and enhance observability and security across cloud and on-premises platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in cloud platform engineering or site reliability engineering.
• Hands-on with production cloud infra across AWS/Azure/GCP; multi-cloud familiarity preferred.
• Proficient with IaC tooling (Terraform/Terragrunt/CloudFormation) and CI/CD for cloud resources.
• Kubernetes experience including deployment, operations, and troubleshooting in production.
• Apply SRE principles: SLOs, observability, incident management, automated remediation.
• Knowledge of hybrid cloud integration patterns and secure on-premise/cloud interoperability.
• Strong problem-solving skills; able to articulate trade-offs to technical/non-technical stakeholders.
• DevSecOps mindset; balance operational rigor with continuous improvement and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement hybrid cloud integration across heterogeneous hosting environments with secure, reliable patterns.
• Drive technical architecture for hybrid cloud workloads, balancing security, reliability, and scalability.
• Automate infrastructure processes to improve reliability and observability at scale.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and automated remediation across multiple clouds and on-premises.
• Contribute to secure network design and access controls, ensuring compliance with standards.
