Job summary

HTX, Singapore’s Science and Technology agency, seeks an Engineer, Hybrid Cloud Excellence to design and operationalise hybrid cloud integrations across diverse hosting environments. You will drive architecture for secure, scalable workloads and apply software engineering to automate infrastructure and improve observability.

The role emphasizes collaboration with project teams, adoption of CI/CD pipelines, and ongoing improvement of cloud operations in a fast-paced public sector setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 4–6 years of cloud platform engineering/SRE experience.
• Hands-on with AWS, Azure, or GCP; multi-cloud familiarity preferred.
• Experience with IaC using Terraform/Terragrunt/CloudFormation; CI/CD design.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate production cloud infrastructure across multiple providers.
• Architect hybrid cloud workloads with focus on security, reliability, and scalability.
• Automate infrastructure with code to improve observability and resilience.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and automated remediation across environments.
• Collaborate with developers and operations to align hybrid cloud patterns with security standards.
• Develop and maintain IaC templates and CI/CD pipelines for cloud resources.
• Produce runbooks and technical docs to support repeatable operations.
• Evaluate new tools and methodologies for continuous improvement in reliability.
