Job summary

SECURITY SPECTRUM SERVICES LIMITED LIABILITY PARTNERSHIP in Singapore seeks a senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and support a hybrid IT setup that combines on-premises servers with Azure cloud services.

You will ensure high availability, reliability, security, and efficiency across enterprise components, covering Windows Server, Azure resources, hybrid networking, backup strategies, and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field required with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022) and enterprise network services.
• Azure certifications preferred (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect).
• Strong knowledge of Azure services: VMs, Resource Groups, Site Recovery, Backup, Storage, Networking.
• Experience with on-prem devices such as Firewalls, Routers, Switches, NAS backups.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V or VMware).
• Proficiency in PowerShell, Azure CLI, or ARM templates.
• Familiarity with hybrid cloud architectures and connectivity solutions (VPN, ExpressRoute).
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of IT security best practices and compliance standards.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Management: Administer and maintain Windows Server environments including AD, DNS, DHCP, and file/print services.
• Azure Cloud Support: Design, deploy, and manage Azure resources like VMs, VNets, and storage.
• Hybrid Integration: Connect on-prem networks to Azure via VPN/ExpressRoute and manage Azure AD Connect.
• Monitoring and Performance: Use tools to optimize performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Security and Compliance: Apply security best practices and ensure policy compliance.
• Automation and Scripting: Develop PowerShell scripts for routine tasks and deployment.
• Backup and Disaster Recovery: Design and test backup and DR strategies for on-prem and Azure.
• Collaboration: Work with application teams, network engineers, and IT support during upgrades and migrations.
• Documentation: Maintain configuration docs and SOPs for infrastructure changes.
