Job summary

GE Vernova International LLC Singapore Branch is seeking a Deputy Commissioning Manager to oversee HVDC commissioning activities and lead an international team of electrical engineers onsite. You will coordinate interfaces among disciplines, consortium partners and contractors, ensuring safe, efficient execution in line with project requirements and regulatory standards.

The role requires a Diploma or higher in Electrical Engineering, strong HVDC knowledge, and proven leadership in complex

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong technical understanding of HVDC control systems and related infrastructure.
• Proven experience leading commissioning teams on complex HV substations or electrical projects.
• Experience in HVDC converter station construction and commissioning.
• Experience meeting Transmission System Operator (TSO) requirements.
• Ability to coordinate with international teams and multidisciplinary groups.

Responsibilities

• Oversee commissioning activities and coordinate an international team onsite.
• Manage interfaces across disciplines, consortium partners and contractors.
• Prepare commissioning plans, test procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance.
• Monitor progress, safety and EHS performance across the project site.
• Lead and coordinate commissioning teams to ensure safe, timely site execution.
• Provide progress updates to the Commissioning Manager and stakeholders.
