Job summary

GE Vernova's Grid Systems Integration team seeks a Senior Project Engineering Manager to lead end-to-end engineering for large HVDC projects, ensuring safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery. You will be the primary engineering leader and customer interface, coordinating global teams from contract handover through commissioning.

You will drive governance, risk management, and technical interfaces across disciplines, while mentoring engineers and advancing standardization and digital tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years EPC project engineering experience in power transmission.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale HVDC, FACTS, or EHV transmission projects.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering leadership roles (Lead Engineer, Engineering Manager, PEM, or Technical PM).
• Strong understanding of engineering execution processes across all project phases from design through commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end engineering execution of HVDC projects from launch through commissioning and handover.
• Act as the single point of accountability for engineering delivery, including safety, quality, schedule, cost, risks, and customer satisfaction.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams across System Engineering, Primary Plant, Civil & Structural, Control & Protection, Studies, Mechanical, Telecom, and Commissioning.
