Job summary

POWER AUTOMATION PTE LTD is seeking an Engineer (HV & MV) to support engineering, technical coordination, and execution of high voltage and medium voltage switchgear/transformer projects in Singapore. You will work with Project Managers, OEMs, clients, consultants, and internal site teams to ensure compliance with OEM requirements, Singapore standards, and safety regulations.

Responsibilities include engineering coordination, design review, procurement support, installation and testing

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in HV/MV switchgear projects.
• Experience with 22kV–400kV transformer/switchgear and SP Group standards preferred.
• Good knowledge of HV/MV switchgear drawings and OEM documentation.
• Ability to coordinate protection, SCADA/RTU, and auxiliary systems.

Responsibilities

• Support HV/MV switchgear/transformer projects from engineering to commissioning.
• Review technical deliverables: diagrams, wiring, protection interface drawings, datasheets.
• Coordinate technical interfaces between switchgear, protection relays, SCADA/RTU, and auxiliaries.
• Review OEM documents for compliance with specs and standards; respond to clarifications.
• Provide installation and site support, testing coordination, and handover documentation.
• Assist with FAT/SAT, test records, and project handover packages.
• Support safety compliance, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
