Job summary

PACC Offshore Services Holdings Limited is seeking a Naval Architect/Engineer to plan and prepare hull structure drawings, provide technical support to production, and ensure alignment with project schedules and class requirements.

The role requires experience in hull fabrication, production drawings, and coordination with design, QA/QC, planning, safety and shipyard teams. Strong reading skills and regulatory knowledge are essential for on-site execution.

Qualifications

• Naval Architecture or Shipbuilding Engineering background or related discipline.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in marine/maritime projects.
• Strong understanding of hull structure, fabrication and shipbuilding processes.
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and production drawings.
• Basic understanding of Class and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hull structure and production drawings (docking plan, lifting plans, shipyard appliances, mooring layouts).
• Check stability and structural integrity.
• Prepare material take-offs and cutting/nesting plans.
• Provide technical support to the entire production team and resolve production issues.
• Coordinate drawing clarifications with the design department.
• Coordinate with engineering to align deliverables with production schedules; liaison with outfitting, piping, electrical, and machinery teams.
• Assist procurement in technical review of hull-related materials.
• Ensure fabrication complies with class rules, project specs and company standards; support QA/QC inspections.
• Maintain documentation and revision control; monitor dimensional tolerances.
