Maersk is seeking a Hub Service Planning Manager for its Ocean Operations in Singapore and Tanjung Pelepas, where you will lead a Cargo Flow Optimization team to shape cargo flows, improve reliability, and support customer promises across the network.
You will work with terminal management, vendors, and regional colleagues to resolve incidents, drive standardization, and push cost-efficient end-to-end services while developing others.
As Hub Service Planning Manager in Ocean Operations, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how cargo flows through Maersk’s largest transshipment hubs in Singapore and Tanjung Pelepas. Leading a team of Cargo Flow Optimisation operators, you will help ensure safe, cost-efficient, and reliable transshipment operations that directly support customer promises across the network. This is an opportunity to lead at the heart of regional hub operations, solving complex operational challenges, driving fast contingency resolution, and building stronger ways of working with global and regional colleagues. You will gain broad international exposure across Asia Pacific, working closely with terminal management, commercial teams, and operational stakeholders to resolve cargo incidents, support specific customer needs, and continuously raise performance standards. In this role, you will be empowered to drive cost leadership, improve service delivery, and lead meaningful change initiatives that strengthen Maersk’s hub operations for the future.
We Offer A high-impact role at the centre of Maersk’s regional hub operations, working with diverse stakeholders, vendors, and colleagues. Opportunities to grow as a people leader while strengthening capabilities in execution management, process improvement, stakeholder engagement, vendor management, and multicultural communication. A deep view into Maersk’s operational and commercial engine, with the chance to influence how global standards and processes evolve.
We are looking for a confident and engaging leader who thrives in dynamic operations and brings people together to solve complex challenges. The ideal candidate communicates clearly, builds trusted relationships, and takes pride in developing others. You should bring a strong improvement mindset, a passion for standardization, and the curiosity to understand both operational and commercial priorities. Most importantly, you are someone who wants to make a visible impact—delivering cost‑efficient, end‑to‑end services while helping the team grow, perform, and shape the future of hub service planning. Experience in operations and leadership is preferred but not required. Maersk is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we embrace different styles of thinking.
