Job summary

Maersk is seeking a confident Hub Service Planning Manager to lead the Cargo Flow Optimization team at strategic hubs in Singapore and Tanjung Pelepas. You will shape transshipment operations, drive performance improvements, and partner with terminal operators to ensure reliable, cost-efficient cargo flows.

In this role you will coach a diverse team, drive capacity planning, and contribute to global standards by sharing hub expertise while delivering value to customers and the network.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and inspire the Cargo Flow Optimization team to deliver strong operational outcomes.
• Drive capacity planning decisions that enable efficient container loading and resilient cargo flows.
• Oversee critical cargo transshipment connections for Maersk vessels, ensuring network reliability and customer confidence.
• Lead operational contingencies with speed, ownership, and a clear focus on customer impact and cost.
• Champion a cost-conscious mindset and identify opportunities to optimize operations without compromising service quality.
• Partner with terminal operators to strengthen operational standards, feedback loops, and performance outcomes.
• Challenge, improve, and help shape Maersk’s global standards by bringing practical hub expertise into global conversations.
• Ensure accurate, timely load, discharge, and transshipment operations.
• Drive the tech agenda within team to enable future ready ways of working.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders to reduce costs, enhance customer experience, and optimize processes.
• Recommend improvements to the Hub Service Planning team.
• Meet terminal vendors regularly for feedback and performance discussions.
