Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Hub Service Planning Manager in Singapore to lead the Cargo Flow Optimization team at our largest transshipment hubs. You will shape cargo flows, drive cost-efficient transshipments, and partner with terminal operators and regional stakeholders to deliver reliable service across the network.

You will lead a multi-disciplinary team, foster standardization, and drive improvements in execution management, vendor engagement, and performance.

Qualifications

Experience leading logistics or hub operations teams.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to drive cost-efficient transshipment operations while maintaining service quality.
Leadership experience in operations is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and inspire the Cargo Flow Optimization team to deliver strong operational outcomes.
Drive capacity planning decisions that enable efficient container loading and resilient cargo flows.
Oversee critical cargo transshipment connections for Maersk vessels, ensuring network reliability.
Lead operational contingencies with speed, ownership, and a customer-focused mindset.
Champion cost-conscious operations without compromising service quality.
Partner with terminal operators to strengthen standards, feedback loops, and performance outcomes.
Contribute to shaping Maersk’s global standards with hub-specific insights.
Ensure accurate, timely load, discharge, and transshipment operations.
Drive the tech agenda within the team to enable future-ready workflows.
Build relationships with stakeholders to reduce costs and enhance customer experience.
