Job summary

Maersk in Singapore is seeking a Hub Service Planning Manager to lead the Cargo Flow Optimization team across Singapore and Tanjung Pelepas, driving safe, cost-efficient transshipment operations and reliable network performance.

You will collaborate with terminal management, commercial teams, and stakeholders to resolve incidents, improve service delivery, and advance standardized global standards through practical hub expertise.

Qualifications

• Experience in operations and leadership is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lead a team and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong focus on standardization, efficiency, and performance improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and inspire the Cargo Flow Optimization team to deliver strong operational outcomes.
• Drive capacity planning decisions that enable efficient container loading and resilient cargo flows.
• Oversee critical cargo transshipment connections for Maersk vessels, ensuring network reliability.
• Lead operational contingencies with speed, ownership, and a focus on customer impact and cost.
• Champion a cost-conscious mindset and identify opportunities to optimize operations without compromising service quality.
• Partner with terminal operators to strengthen operational standards, feedback loops, and performance outcomes.
• Challenge, improve, and shape Maersk’s global standards by bringing hub expertise into global conversations.
• Ensure accurate, timely load, discharge, and transshipment operations.
• Drive the tech agenda within the team to enable future-ready ways of working.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders to reduce costs, enhance customer experience, and optimize processes.
• Meet terminal vendors regularly for feedback and performance discussions.
