Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Hub Service Planning Manager for its Ocean Operations in Singapore and Tanjung Pelepas, where you will lead a Cargo Flow Optimization team to shape cargo flows, improve reliability, and support customer promises across the network.

You will work with terminal management, vendors, and regional colleagues to resolve incidents, drive standardization, and push cost-efficient end-to-end services while developing others.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in operations is preferred but not required.
• Strong improvement mindset and passion for standardization.
• Ability to understand both operational and commercial priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and inspire the Cargo Flow Optimization team to deliver strong operational outcomes.
• Drive capacity planning decisions that enable efficient container loading and resilient cargo flows.
• Oversee critical cargo transshipment connections for Maersk vessels, ensuring network reliability.
• Lead operational contingencies with speed, ownership, and a clear focus on customer impact and cost.
• Champion a cost-conscious mindset and identify opportunities to optimize operations without compromising service quality.
• Partner with terminal operators to strengthen operational standards, feedback loops, and performance outcomes.
• Challenge, improve, and help shape Maersk’s global standards by bringing practical hub expertise into global conversations.
• Ensure accurate, timely load, discharge, and transshipment operations.
• Drive the tech agenda within team to enable future ready ways of working.
