SATS Ltd. is seeking an Assistant Manager, HSSE (Country Foods) to lead and strengthen the Health, Safety, Security and Environment function for the Country Foods arm from our Singapore operations.

You will ensure compliance with laws, implement robust HSSE systems and foster a strong safety culture across all sites and processes. The role requires a degree in a safety-related field, 3+ years in food manufacturing, and MOM WSH Officer registration.

Competenze

• Degree in Workplace Safety & Health, Engineering, Environmental Health, Ergonomics or related discipline.
• At least 3 years' experience in food manufacturing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HSSE regulations including WSH Act, Fire Safety Act, ISO 45001:2018.
• Valid registration as WSH Officer (WSHO) with MOM.
• ISO 45001 Internal Auditor Certificate preferred.

• Lead and manage the HSSE function within Country Foods to ensure legal and corporate compliance.
• Develop and maintain HSSE management systems aligned with SATS standards.
• Drive programs to improve safety, security and environmental performance.
• Ensure licensing, permits, and regulatory requirements are met.
• Lead HSSE risk assessments, change management, and contractor management.
• Protect employees, facilities and the environment from HSSE risks.
• Lead audits, inspections and timely corrective actions.
• Investigate HSSE incidents and implement root-cause actions.
• Perform routine site inspections and performance reviews.
• Maintain HSSE records, permits and training documentation.
• Analyze HSSE metrics and report trends to management.
• Lead environmental management: waste, pollution prevention and conservation.
• Oversee security programs: access control and CCTV systems.
• Liaise with regulators, customers and emergency responders on HSSE matters.
• Support emergency preparedness, crisis management and business continuity.
