Job summary

Thales in Singapore seeks a seasoned HSE professional to lead the Integrated HSE Management System, drive policy implementation, risk assessments, audits, and continuous improvement across facilities. You will coordinate safety programmes, incident investigations, and regulatory reporting.

You will manage ISO certifications, sustainability initiatives, and emergency planning, while delivering training and HSE dashboards using Power BI and Excel.

Qualifications

• 3 to 8 years of experience in Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) within a manufacturing environment.
• Degree or Diploma in Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience with government agencies (MOM, SCDF, NEA, PUB).
• Strong knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001.
• Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) and Fire Safety Manager (FSM).
• Certified in Managing Hazardous Substances.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of the Integrated HSE Management System, ensuring compliance with Singapore HSE regulations.
• Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, objectives, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct Risk Assessments, SWP reviews, inspections, audits, and contractor safety management.
• Lead investigations into incidents and ensure timely closure of corrective actions.
• Manage ISO 14001, ISO 50001, and ISCC PLUS certification activities, audits, and documentation.
• Drive environmental sustainability initiatives, energy management, ESG reporting, and climate programmes.
• Coordinate Fire Safety and Emergency Response programmes and liaison with authorities.
• Manage occupational health programmes, including exposure assessments and monitoring.
• Develop HSE dashboards and reports using Power BI and Excel.
• Deliver HSE induction, training, campaigns, and awareness programmes.
• Prepare statutory and management reports; coordinate audits; support continuous improvement.
