Job summary

Lagardere Travel Retail Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced HR professional to manage daily HR operations and the employee lifecycle in a fast-paced retail environment. You will handle onboarding, transfers, promotions, terminations and offboarding while ensuring accurate records and timely responses to employee queries.

The role requires strong knowledge of the Singapore Employment Act, hands-on lifecycle management, and collaboration with hiring managers to meet manpower needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of HR experience including operations and recruitment.
• Knowledge of the Singapore Employment Act (EA) and HR practices.
• Hands-on experience in employee lifecycle management and recruitment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day HR operations and employee lifecycle, including onboarding, transfers, confirmations, promotions and offboarding.
• Handle employee queries and maintain accurate HR records and documentation.
• Coordinate new hire onboarding, including uniform issuance and other pre-employment arrangements.
• Manage the issuance, tracking and replacement of employee uniforms.
• Support recruitment activities, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination and offer preparation.
• Work closely with hiring managers to support manpower needs and ensure timely hiring.
• Ensure HR practices and processes comply with the Singapore Employment Act (EA) and company policies.
• Support HR projects, reporting and other HR initiatives as required.
