Job description

About OOm Institute

We don't just teach skills. We change trajectories.

OOm Institute is a WSQ-accredited training provider built on a simple but powerful belief: that every learner, given the right knowledge and the right environment, is capable of becoming their best. Backed by over 20 years of hands-on digital expertise from OOm, one of Singapore's leading performance marketing agencies, we bring real-world experience into every classroom, not just theory.

Our courses span digital marketing, generative AI, and critical workplace skills, and we work with everyone from fresh career starters to senior leaders at companies like Singtel, SMRT, and Singapore Pools. But regardless of who walks through our doors, our commitment is the same: to give every learner the tools, the thinking, and the confidence to solve problems on their own and not just hand them answers.

That philosophy shapes everything about how we operate. We measure ourselves by our learners' outcomes, not our class sizes. We make the difficult call to do less, better, every time. And we play to win, for every person who chooses to learn with us.

If you're someone who finds genuine satisfaction in watching people grow, who brings grit and resilience to the work even when it's hard, and who believes that building capability in others is one of the most meaningful things you can do, you'll feel at home here.

About the Role

We are looking for a driven and resourceful Talent Acquisition Specialist to take ownership of end-to-end recruitment for our team.

This is a hands-on, results-focused role for an experienced recruiter who understands how to identify, engage, assess, and close high-performing talent. You will work closely with leadership and HR to build a strong and sustainable pipeline of talent, playing a direct role in shaping the team that drives the Institute's growth.

This is not a passive, job-posting-led recruitment role. You should be comfortable with active sourcing, direct candidate outreach, persistent follow-up, and managing multiple vacancies in a fast-paced environment. Success in this role will be measured by the quality, speed, and consistency of your hiring outcomes.

  • Office Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 6.00pm
  • Location: Tai Seng, North-East Region
  • Remuneration: Basic Salary + Incentive
  • Career Progression: Opportunities for advancement into senior talent acquisition and other HR roles
  • Flexi-Cash Benefits: Use for air tickets, accommodation, dental, medical, and more
  • Leave Entitlements: Start with 14 days of Annual Leave + 1 Birthday Leave
Key Responsibilities
  • Own the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening to coordination of interviews.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements, role expectations, sales targets, technical competencies and candidate profiles.
  • Design and execute targeted recruitment strategies to attract experienced professionals in a competitive talent market.
  • Proactively source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, professional networks, referrals, talent databases, social media, and direct outreach.
  • Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of active and passive candidates for current and anticipated vacancies.
  • Conduct structured screening interviews to assess candidates’ experience, cold calling, new business development, consultative selling, and engaging business decision-makers, prospecting ability, target orientation, motivation, and suitability for the role.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records, recruitment activities, and pipeline movements in the Applicant Tracking System.
  • Track recruitment metrics such as sourcing activity, interview conversion rates, offer acceptance rates, source effectiveness, and time-to-fill.
What We’re Looking For
  • At least 3 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, gained in an in-house or recruitment agency environment.
  • Proven experience recruiting for corporate sales, B2B sales, business development, enterprise sales, or other target-driven commercial roles.
  • Strong direct-sourcing and candidate-engagement capabilities, with a willingness to approach passive candidates.
  • Good understanding of sales competencies and the ability to distinguish between activity-based and results-driven sales candidates.
  • Results-oriented and comfortable being accountable for recruitment targets and hiring outcomes.
  • Good knowledge of recruitment best practices and fair employment practices in Singapore.
