Job summary

PwC Singapore is seeking a Human Capital Services Intern to gain hands-on experience across onboarding, payroll, leave management and HR systems governance.

You will support end-to-end HR operations, maintain employee records, assist staff enquiries, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality HR services in a fast-paced environment.

Exposure to AI tools and Workday familiarity will be advantageous as you build a solid foundation in HR operations.

Qualifications

• Pursuing studies in Business Administration, HR or related disciplines.
• Interest in HR operations or shared services.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Workday is an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Meticulous, well-organised and attentive to detail.
• Strong coordination and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Support employee lifecycle processes by assisting onboarding activities to help ensure a smooth and positive experience for employees.
• Maintain employee records in HR databases, ensuring data accuracy, completeness and timeliness.
• Maintain and reconcile leave records for reporting and payroll purposes.
• Support the team in attending to staff enquiries relating to HR policies, processes and administrative matters in a professional and service-oriented manner.
• Provide operational and administrative support in relation to staff welfare administration, billing and payment matters.
• Support process efficiency by tracking and following up on tasks and transactions to ensure timely completion and high service standards.
• Participate in HR-related initiatives and projects that support process improvement, operational excellence and overall employee experience.
• Collaborate within internal and external stakeholders across the firm to support effective HR service delivery.
• Leverage AI tools to improve process efficiency and contribute to AI initiatives.
