Job summary

Leila Singapore is seeking a hands-on HR & Operations Executive to support both our people and day-to-day restaurant operations.

This dual-role position will involve hiring the right people, building effective HR processes, and managing operational matters to keep the restaurant running smoothly.

You will work closely with management and the operations team to build systems, improve processes and make a real impact on how the business operates.

Job description

Leila Singapore is looking for a hands-on and highly organised HR & Operations Executive to support both our people and day-to-day restaurant operations.

This is a dual-role position for someone who enjoys being close to the business , from hiring the right people and building effective HR processes, to managing operational matters, solving problems and ensuring the restaurant runs smoothly.

You will work closely with management and the operations team, with the opportunity to build systems, improve processes and make a real impact on how the business operates.

What You’ll Own

People & HR

• Manage day-to-day HR matters including recruitment, interviews, onboarding, employee records, attendance, leave and HR administration.
• Lead recruitment for service, kitchen, operations and support positions, from sourcing and screening to interviews and onboarding.
• Work closely with management to understand manpower requirements and support effective workforce planning.
• Ensure employees understand and follow company policies, HR guidelines and operational standards.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and documentation.

Operations & Systems

• Support the smooth day-to-day operation of the restaurant and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Develop, implement and maintain SOPs, systems and operational processes.
• Identify areas for improvement and help streamline processes to improve efficiency, productivity and cost control.
• Coordinate operational matters including maintenance, procurement, inventory, vendors and administrative requirements.
• Liaise with suppliers and service providers and ensure issues are followed up and resolved.
• Support manpower scheduling and operational planning.
• Ensure proper documentation and operational records are maintained.

Business Support

• Work closely with management and operations to identify problems and implement practical solutions.
• Support cost control and resource planning.
• Take ownership of ad-hoc projects and improvement initiatives.
• Be a reliable go-to person for both HR and operational matters.

Who We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant F&B, hospitality or restaurant experience, preferably with exposure to both HR and operations.
• Strong practical HR and administrative experience with a good understanding of F&B manpower and workplace operations.
• Comfortable handling both people matters and operational challenges.
• Strong recruitment and interviewing skills, with the ability to identify suitable F&B talent.
• Highly organised, systematic and process-driven.
• Independent, proactive and willing to take ownership rather than wait for instructions.
• Strong problem-solving, coordination and follow-up skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced F&B environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace.
• Experience with HRIS, POS or other business systems will be an advantage.

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 10:00am – 7:00pm
