Job summary

The GMP Group is hiring an HR Assistant / HR Executive to support operations across onboarding, payroll, work passes and employee engagement. This role is based in Jurong East and requires hands-on payroll experience and knowledge of Singapore employment regulations.

You will maintain employee records, assist with onboarding, renewals, offboarding, and coordinate training programmes while assisting HR communications and reporting.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in HR Management or related field.
• 1-3 years HR experience; more experienced applicants may be considered for Executive level.
• Hands-on payroll processing experience is required.
• Familiar with Singapore employment regulations and MOM procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Detail-oriented and able to handle confidential information.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• HR Operations & Administration: maintain employee records and HR documentation.
• Support onboarding, confirmation, renewal and offboarding.
• Handle employee enquiries and daily HR operations.
• Payroll & Statutory Compliance: process monthly payroll including overtime, allowances and deductions.
• Prepare payroll reports and manage CPF, IRAS and other statutory submissions.
• Work Pass & Regulatory Matters: manage WP, SP, EP applications, renewals and cancellations.
• Liaise with MOM and coordinate medical check-ups and insurance matters.
• Training & Employee Engagement: coordinate programmes and mandatory certifications.
• Support employee engagement activities and HR communications.
• Reporting & HR Systems: maintain monthly manpower and HR reports; support HR systems, attendance, claims and appraisal administration.
