Job summary

Rigging & Marine Services Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a detail-oriented HR Assistant with HR Generalist experience to join our team. The role covers day-to-day HR operations, recruitment support, and onboarding, plus work pass administration for foreign staff.

You will coordinate travel, onboarding/offboarding, accommodation, and provide administrative support while maintaining confidential employee records and ensuring regulatory compliance. A proactive, independent work style is essential.

Qualifications

• ITE or Diploma in any discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a HR Generalist role.
• Knowledge of local labour laws, including Employment Act and MOM procedures.
• Ability to work independently with initiative and accountability.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the HR team to ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day HR operations.
• Support recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, salary proposals, onboarding/orientation, and exit management.
• Assist with work pass administration, including applications, renewals, cancellations, and issuances, in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate logistics for foreign employees, including travel arrangements, onboarding/offboarding, and accommodation/dormitory assignments.
• Provide administrative and operational support, including office supplies management and vendor coordination.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring proper documentation and confidentiality.
