Job summary

MiAO AI is recruiting a hands-on HR Generalist to support our Singapore office. You will manage recruitment, onboarding, payroll, work pass compliance, and daily employee support, leveraging AI tools as your default workflow.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s in HR/BA/Psychology, up to 2 years’ HR/admin experience, and are fluent in English and Mandarin. You will handle confidential information with discretion and own processes end-to-end in a fast-growing, AI-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Holds a bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, psychology, or a related field.
• Up to 2 years of HR or administrative experience, fresh graduates included.
• Experience using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Notion AI) as part of daily work.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin).
• Organised, discreet with confidential information, and able to own tasks end-to-end.
• Basic familiarity with Singapore Employment Act, CPF and MOM work passes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment end to end: posting roles, screening applications, scheduling interviews and managing candidate communication
• Run onboarding and offboarding, including contracts, documentation, system access and exit administration
• Prepare monthly payroll inputs and leave records, and support CPF, IR21 and other statutory submissions
• Support Employment Pass, S Pass and other MOM applications, renewals and cancellations
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
• Handle employee queries on leave, benefits and HR policy
• Use AI tools to draft, automate and improve HR processes

About This Role

You'll join a HR team supporting our Singapore office and work directly with the Senior HR Executive across the full employee lifecycle. This is a hands-on generalist role: you'll touch recruitment, onboarding, payroll, work pass compliance and day-to-day employee support, and you'll be expected to use AI tools as your default way of working.

You May Be a Good Fit If You

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
• Are a fresh graduate or have up to 2 years of HR or administrative experience
• Use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Notion AI or similar) as a normal part of how you work, not an occasional add-on
• Are fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin)
• Are organised, discreet with confidential information, and comfortable owning a task from start to finish
• Have some familiarity with Singapore employment basics (Employment Act, CPF, MOM work passes) or are keen to learn them fast
