Job summary

MiAO AI is seeking an HR Generalist to join our Singapore office. You will partner with the Senior HR Executive across the full employee lifecycle, handling recruitment, onboarding, payroll, work pass compliance and day-to-day employee support in a hands-on, AI-driven environment.

We value candidates who are fluent in English and Mandarin, possess strong organizational skills, and can manage tasks from start to finish while learning Singapore employment basics quickly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Psychology or related field.
• Fresh graduate or up to 2 years HR/admin experience.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin; strong communication skills.
• Familiar with Singapore employment basics or willing to learn fast.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment end to end: posting roles, screening, interviews.
• Run onboarding/offboarding including contracts and access.
• Prepare monthly payroll inputs and leave records.
• Support CPF, IR21 and other statutory submissions.
• Assist Employment Pass, S Pass MOM applications and renewals.
• Maintain accurate HR records and documentation.
• Handle employee queries on leave, benefits, and policy.
• Leverage AI tools to draft and improve HR processes.

About This Role

You'll join a HR team supporting our Singapore office and work directly with the Senior HR Executive across the full employee lifecycle. This is a hands-on generalist role: you'll touch recruitment, onboarding, payroll, work pass compliance and day-to-day employee support, and you'll be expected to use AI tools as your default way of working.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate recruitment end to end: posting roles, screening applications, scheduling interviews and managing candidate communication
• Run onboarding and offboarding, including contracts, documentation, system access and exit administration
• Prepare monthly payroll inputs and leave records, and support CPF, IR21 and other statutory submissions
• Support Employment Pass, S Pass and other MOM applications, renewals and cancellations
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
• Handle employee queries on leave, benefits and HR policy
• Use AI tools to draft, automate and improve HR processes

You May Be a Good Fit If You

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
• Are a fresh graduate or have up to 2 years of HR or administrative experience
• Use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Notion AI or similar) as a normal part of how you work, not an occasional add-on
• Are fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin)
• Are organised, discreet with confidential information, and comfortable owning a task from start to finish
• Have some familiarity with Singapore employment basics (Employment Act, CPF, MOM work passes) or are keen to learn them fast
