Job summary

The Republic of Singapore Yacht Club is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee and train housekeepers, plan rosters, and ensure cleanliness and maintenance. Candidates must have at least 2 years of relevant experience and a solid understanding of cleaning procedures. Qualifications

• Supervise and train housekeepers
• Plan and prepare the roster and work schedules for the department
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, maintenance and sanitation
• Control stock of cleaning materials and toiletries
• Check all housekeeping machinery monthly
• Arrange and follow up on any maintenance as when and where required
• Supervise the linen room operations as when and where required
• Perform any other related duties as assigned by the management

Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of similar experience
• Have a good understanding and knowledge of all cleaning procedures and use of chemicals / cleaning agents
• Must be hands‑on when required
• Positive work attitude, teamplayer, good interpersonal skills and ability to multitask
