Job summary

TALENTS@WORK PTE. LTD. is hiring a housekeeping team member for a busy hostel near Chinatown MRT in Singapore. Training is provided and you will join a fast-paced team.

Responsibilities include cleaning guest rooms and shared spaces, changing linens, sanitising bathrooms, assisting with laundry and conducting room inspections while maintaining high cleanliness standards. Weekend and public holiday work is required.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Physically fit to perform cleaning duties.
• Positive attitude and team player.
• Able to work weekends and public holidays.

• Change bed linens and replenish guest amenities.
• Sanitise bathrooms and shower areas.
• Support laundry—washing, drying and folding linens.
• Conduct room inspections before guest arrivals.
• Monitor housekeeping supplies.
• Report maintenance and safety issues.
• Manage waste disposal and recycling.
• Assist with guest housekeeping requests.
• Maintain high-touch and communal areas.
• Handle lost and found items per procedures.

Location: Near Chinatown MRT

Salary: $1,700 – $2,000

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms, dormitories, shared bathrooms, lounge, pantry, kitchen and reception areas
• Change bed linens and replenish guest amenities
• Sanitise bathrooms and shower areas
• Support laundry – washing, drying and folding linens
• Conduct room inspections before guest arrivals
• Monitor housekeeping supplies
• Report maintenance and safety issues
• Manage waste disposal and recycling
• Assist with guest housekeeping requests
• Maintain high-touch and communal areas
• Handle lost and found items according to procedures

Working Schedule

• 5 days work week, 2 days off
• Off days assigned by Hostel Manager
• Rotating shifts: 9am – 6pm / 11am – 8pm
• Must be comfortable working weekends and Public Holidays

Candidate Requirements

• No experience required – training provided
• Housekeeping/hotel cleaning experience is advantageous
• Physically fit and comfortable performing cleaning duties
• Positive attitude and team player
• Good attention to detail and cleanliness
• Basic English communication
• Able to work weekends and Public Holidays
