Job summary

Security Officer position at a hotel complying with IHG standards. You will help ensure guest safety, monitor CCTV, report hazards, and assist in investigations to maintain a secure environment that encourages repeat visits.

Responsibilities include daily risk observation, coordinating with the Manager, and supporting emergency responses as required, including VIP escort duties and night transport arrangements. A valid security license and weekend shift flexibility are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification of GCE O levels.
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Possess a valid security officer license.
• Able to work rotating 12 hour shifts over weekends and public holidays (8am–8pm and 8pm–8am).

Responsibilities

• Report property deficiencies and safety or security hazards to the Manager.
• Monitor CCTV for suspicious activities, guests or vehicles.
• Assist with investigations of incidents within hotel premises.
• Escort VIPs and dignitaries as needed.
• Respond to emergencies as a CERT / Certified First Aider member.
