Job summary

Beverly Hotel Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Hotel Technician responsible for day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of hotel facilities and systems to ensure safety and functionality.

The role includes preventive maintenance, handling guest room and public area issues, and coordinating with contractors. The ideal candidate has technical/engineering qualifications and knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, with a focus on safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Relevant technical / engineering qualification or equivalent practical experience.
• Previous hotel, building, facilities, or general maintenance experience is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning, mechanical, and general building maintenance.
• Relevant licences or certifications where legally required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day maintenance, repair, inspection, and upkeep of hotel facilities and equipment.
• Attend to maintenance requests from guest rooms, public areas, offices and back-of-house areas.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning, mechanical, and general building maintenance issues; escalate when needed.
• Maintain and service hotel equipment according to schedule; record work and report issues.
• Coordinate with contractors and ensure safety and compliance.
