Job summary

Amara Sanctuary Sentosa is seeking a Security Manager to oversee the Security Department, ensuring safety for guests, associates and assets across the Resort.

You will lead risk assessments, enforce WS Health and fire safety standards, and drive loss prevention initiatives while coordinating CCTV, access control and other systems. A PLRD Security License and hospitality experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of security management experience in hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of Workplace Safety and Health regulations and fire safety.
• Excellent communication and leadership with guest-focused mindset.
• Experience conducting security audits, investigations and training.
• Possess a valid PLRD Security License.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement security, safety and loss prevention strategies across the Resort.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and implement preventive measures.
• Ensure compliance with WS Health and fire safety regulations.
• Lead investigations into incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Review and update security policies and SOPs.
• Manage access control, CCTV and other security systems.
• Plan deployment of security personnel for coverage across the Resort.
• Maintain incident records and security documentation.
• Oversee training and on-the-job development of security staff.
• Conduct security awareness and emergency response training for staff.
