Amara Sanctuary Sentosa is seeking a Security Manager to oversee the Security Department, ensuring safety for guests, associates and assets across the Resort.
You will lead risk assessments, enforce WS Health and fire safety standards, and drive loss prevention initiatives while coordinating CCTV, access control and other systems. A PLRD Security License and hospitality experience are essential.
Responsible for the overall management of the Security Department, ensuring the safety and security of the Resort, guests, associates, assets and premises. The Security Manager will develop and implement effective security, safety and loss prevention measures while ensuring compliance with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.
Develop and implement comprehensive security, safety and loss prevention strategies to safeguard the Resort, guests, associates and assets.
Conduct regular security and risk assessments, identify potential hazards and implement appropriate preventive and corrective measures.
Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH), fire safety and other relevant statutory requirements.
Lead investigations into security incidents, accidents and other occurrences, and ensure appropriate corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
Review and update security policies, systems, procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure effectiveness and operational relevance.
Manage access control, CCTV surveillance systems and other security systems to ensure effective monitoring and protection of the Resort.
Plan and manage the deployment of security personnel to ensure adequate manpower coverage and effective security operations across the Resort.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of security incidents, investigations, reports, patrols and other relevant security documentation.
Oversee departmental training and conduct on-the-job training (OJT) to ensure security associates are competent and adequately equipped to perform their duties.
Conduct security awareness, emergency response and safety training for hotel associates.
Minimum of 5 years experience in security management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of Workplace Safety and Health regulations, fire safety and emergency preparedness.
Strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills with a guest-oriented mindset.
Experience in conducting security audits, incident investigation and departmental training programs.
Possess a valid PLRD Security License.
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
