Job summary

Hilton Singapore is seeking a Purchasing Executive to support procurement operations, ensuring timely sourcing, ordering and delivery of goods and services for daily hotel operations. The role collaborates with suppliers and internal teams to maintain records, uphold policies and drive efficient, ethical procurement.

You will assist in inventory control, vendor management and cost monitoring while supporting the smooth operation of the hotel, reporting to the Purchasing Manager.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in supply chain, procurement, business administration or hospitality-related field.
• 1–3 years purchasing/procurement experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Familiar with purchasing procedures, inventory management and procurement best practices.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase requisitions and prepare purchase orders following procedures.
• Source quotations from approved suppliers and assist in competitive pricing.
• Follow up on purchase orders for timely delivery of goods and services.
• Verify purchase documentation for accuracy before submission for approval.
• Coordinate with requesting departments to fulfil procurement requirements.
• Assist in sourcing new suppliers and products as directed.
• Monitor outstanding POs and resolve delivery discrepancies.
• Support day-to-day purchasing activities to ensure hotel operations.
