Job summary

Woodlands Hospital is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to manage mechanical and ACMV systems across our facilities. You will coordinate maintenance with vendors and in-house teams to ensure reliable hospital operations and safety in a dynamic healthcare setting.

The role involves planning upgrades, supporting project execution, and providing technical guidance to maintenance staff while aligning with infection control and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5–9 years in mechanical systems; 1–4 years preferred.
• Healthcare facility experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical/ACMV systems.
• Coordinate maintenance by agents and contractors.
• Prepare specs, cost estimates and schedules for projects.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshoot system issues.
• Lead engineering assistants and coordinate cross-functional teams.
