Job summary

Ang Mo Kio-Thye Hua Kwan Hospital Ltd is seeking a seasoned Facilities Engineer to support planning, maintenance, upgrades, and operation of the hospital's building systems, ensuring safety, compliance, and a conducive environment for patients and staff.

You will assist in project management, asset management, regulatory compliance, and emergency readiness, coordinating contractors and consultants, updating asset records, and generating monthly maintenance reports.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or relevant FM discipline.
• Fire Safety/Project Manager certifications are a plus.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; familiarity with MS Project and BIM is advantageous.
• Fresh degree holders or experienced diploma holders (8 years for diploma holders) may apply.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills; ability to work independently and under tight timelines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to work in a matrix team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day management of building and infrastructure maintenance.
• Conduct condition assessments of buildings and infrastructure assets.
• Support planning and execution of infrastructure upgrade projects.
• Coordinate project scopes, timelines, costs, and schedules.
• Manage consultants, contractors, and service providers; conduct site inspections.
• Maintain asset records and maintenance history.
• Support safety inspections, audits, and regulatory compliance.
