Qualificações

• Trade certificate or diploma in electrical, refrigeration or mechanical engineering or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 3–5 years hands-on appliance repair experience.
• Knowledge of appliance types, components and repair methods.
• Proficiency using diagnostic tools and multimeters.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel within service area.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
• Physical ability to lift heavy appliances.
• Commitment to high-quality workmanship and safety standards.

Responsabilidades

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Home Appliance Repair Technician to join our team at BQ Services PTE. LTD. This is a full-time position based in the Jurong East West Region. As a Home Appliance Repair Technician, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our customers by diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of domestic appliances. Your expertise and attention to detail will directly contribute to customer satisfaction and the reputation of our company in the competitive appliance repair industry.

What you\'ll be doing

1. Diagnose faults and defects in domestic appliances including refrigerators, washing machines, dishwashers, ovens, and air conditioning units

2. Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components using appropriate tools and equipment

3. Conduct routine maintenance and preventative servicing on appliances to ensure optimal performance

4. Test repaired appliances to verify that they are functioning correctly and safely

5. Provide clear explanations to customers regarding the issues identified and the repairs carried out

6. Maintain accurate records of all service calls, repairs completed, and parts used

7. Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations during all repair operations

8. Manage time effectively to meet scheduled appointments and service targets

9. Source and procure replacement parts as needed to complete repairs efficiently

What we\'re looking for

1. Trade certification or diploma in electrical, refrigeration, or mechanical engineering or equivalent practical experience

2. Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in appliance repair or related technical field

3. Strong knowledge of various appliance types, components, and repair methodologies

4. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, multimeters, and specialized repair equipment

5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues

6. Valid driving licence and willingness to travel within the service area

7. Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with customers

8. Physical fitness to lift and manoeuvre heavy appliances

9. Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship

10. Knowledge of electrical safety standards and compliance requirements is highly desirable
