Job summary

BUSINESS EDGE PERSONNEL SERVICES PTE LTD is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage financial reporting, accounting operations and internal controls in a multi-store retail environment. The role is based at Tampines HQ and requires a hands-on approach to month-end closes.

Reporting to the Head of Finance & Control, you will handle full-set accounts (GL, AP/AR), prepare statements and support budgeting and forecasting while ensuring GST and statutory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy and professional accounting qualification required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a multi-store retail environment.
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle full-set accounts, including GL, AP/AR and monthly closing.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports and account reconciliations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial performance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, GST and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams, auditors and external stakeholders on finance matters.

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to manage financial reporting, accounting operations and internal controls. Candidates with multi-outlet retail accounting experience are highly preferred.

Location: Tampines (HQ Office)

Salary: $4,500 - $5,000/month

Working Days: Monday to Friday (5-day work week)
